推荐信范例
大多数学校都要求申请人提供二至三封推荐信。有力的推荐是录取的重要条件之
一。推荐信要客观、公正、切忌流于形式，内容空洞，要与申请人的其它材料（如成绩单）等相符。推荐信也应注意格式、文法等。因为向来有“名师出高徒”之说。推荐信的格式与一般书信基本相同。有信头，发信日期，收信人姓名，称呼，正文，信尾谦称，签名，推荐人姓名，职称及工作单位等部分。但推荐信还应着重以下方面：
1. 为了便于校方查阅，必须提到被推荐者的全名。
2. 必须交待与被推荐者的认识期间（何时开始认识或认识多久），认识程度（偶尔见面或密切接触）及关系（师生关系，上下级关系，同事等）。
3. 对被推荐者的优点介绍及评价，这是推荐信的核心。主要包括被推荐者的天赋，学习成绩，研究能力，工作经验，学习精神，组织能力，品行及个性方面。
4. 必须表明推荐人的态度，是极力推荐还是有保留地推荐。
最近一些学校出于各种原因，设计了推荐表格，由推荐人填写，但其主要内容也和推荐信涉及的相同。
范例1 计算机教授推荐信
At the request of Mr. Xizhen Chen, my former student in the Department of Computer Science, Beijing Univ. of Sciences, I am glad to write this letter furnishing my evaluation of his academic aptitude for your reference. Mr. Chen is interested in your graduate program in Computer Science.

推荐信的份量直接关系到能否出国留学，能否获得奖学金等，作为对外联系的材料，是其中一份较为重要的文件。推荐信的目的是通过国内专家向对方介绍申请人的工作、学习和专业方向等情况。在出国申请是否成功的诸多要素中，有力的推荐信是录取的重要条件之一，其份量仅次于于本科成绩单和标准化考试（GRE、GMAT、TOEFL）成绩。
多数学校都要求申请人提交两封到三封的推荐信，由教授、系主任或工作主管直接寄给指定的单位。
一、选择推荐人
推荐信是了解申请人的重要依据，在研究生课程中尤其如此。申请人可以选择现在或以前的老师、教授或雇主。推荐人必须熟悉学生的学习情况，了解学生的学习目的是否明确，在学术上是否有前途，以及学生的适应能力、创造能力、品行和特长。
书写推荐信的最理想的人选是一封由系主任写，一封由专业课教授写，一封由自己的导师写。不过，对方若无规定，则除了自己的亲属之外，任何人皆可为推荐人。推荐人一般应具备高级技术职称，如教授、副教授、研究员、副研究员等。如果推荐人在国内外学术界享有盛誉，或者被申请就读学校聘为客座教授，或者曾经在该校讲过学，那么这样的推荐人写的推荐信就具有很强的效力了。
二、推荐信的内容
推荐信一般应包括下列内容：
被推荐人的基本情况介绍。侧重于个人的毕业时间、学校、所获学位以及个人的专业经历。
推荐人对被推荐人的基本评价。侧重于被推荐人的专业基础、个性、特点、工作态度和在学术上的前途估计。若是推荐研究生，推荐人还需进一步说明其深造学习的基础和当前所具备的研究能力。显然，恰如其分地评价被推荐人的基础、能力和前途，比言过其实的赞誉更令人情服，更具有实际意义。
推荐人可以着重介绍被推荐人曾经获得的奖励，发表过的论文，参加过的重要学术会议，以及曾在学生组织或学术团体中的任职等来支持自己的评价。
推荐人还必须清楚地表明被推荐人留学的身份是研究生还是访问学者，专业领域和研究方向是什么。 如果大学提供了现成的推荐表格，则必须按这类表格认真逐项填写。推荐表格中一般有学生综合评估的一项，即要求推荐人说明该生在所教的学生中应列为前5％，10％，或25％等。这种评估是指教授的个人评价，可以稍高一点。另外，推荐表格上常有许多难以填写的项目，遇到这种情形可填"I don't know"，亦不致对该生的评价有何严重影响。
推荐信尾必须有推荐人的亲笔签名，最好直接由推荐人寄给学校招生办官员或申请就读学校的系主任。如果由被推荐人寄送，可将推荐信装入信封内封好后由推荐人在信封口处亲笔签名以示保密。信封正面注明"A Letter Of Recommendation"，表明这是一封推荐信。

篇二：推荐信签名
推荐信签名及打印指引推荐信确定后，打印和签名要求如下：打印之前要排版，也就是把打印范围调好，内容不要打印在抬头上。 第一步：点击“文件”--“页面设置”，看到“页边距”，然后用尺子量一下你所要打印
的纸张，上下左右是几厘米，数字敲进去；第二步：看到“纸张”-- 纸张大小默认为a4，宽度和高度，你需要用尺子量一下，然
后把数字敲进去就可以了；
最后，点击确定就可以了。 信纸需要有学校（推荐单位）的抬头，信封要有学校（推荐单位）的标志。签名时注意：
信封的封口线处，信纸下面有推荐人名字的地方要签名(签在署名右边)。并且，信封的签名
要横跨过信封的封口线（合上封口写名字，上面一半下面一半），签完名信封不要封口。签名
最好签英文的拼音，信封和信纸的签名要保持一致。你申请几个学校，每个推荐人就签几份。

签名是英文还是中文，要看教授的习惯。一般要求用英文签名，如果教授习惯用中文，那可
以用中文。
至于整篇推荐信的字体，要求统一，不要使用不同的字体。因为你有三封推荐信要写，
所以你应该尽量使用不同的信纸，字体，字号，页边距等等，尽量使得三封推荐信的样式看
起来各不相同。
要知道教授给你签推荐信是一个很繁琐的过程，一般来说一封推荐信需要 3 个签名：推
荐信上一个，推荐表格上一个，信封上一个;然后还要在推荐表上签一个日期。你申请十几个
学校的话，教授就要签 50 个左右的名字，是很累的。 如果你得到教授授权，可以自己代替教授签名，那你就模仿教授的笔迹签名好了，这样
即使对方学校有疑问过来核实，由于教授给你授权了，学校也不会查出什么东西来。
有时候教授不愿意给你签很多的名字，而且你经常跑去找他签名也不好，毕竟不能总去
麻烦教授。这个时候你还是自己模仿好了，随便拿几封推荐信让教授签了，后面的你全部自
己代笔模仿。一般来说教授给你签推荐信的时候，是不会看你的推荐信是用在哪个学校的申
请上的，所以即便是对方学校觉得你的签名不太对劲，来找教授核实，教授反正也不知道他
的推荐信是用在哪些学校上面的，所以肯定回复说这是我写的。当然如果碰上上面说过的把
推荐信连签名都复印再寄过来的情况就没办法了，你就直接去和教授解释一下吧。 至于出国留学推荐信的字数嘛，没有什么很严格的要求。只要你把话说清楚了，把被推

4.3.1 推荐信的功能在欧美国家，推荐信是求职时的必备的个人资料之一，是对求职者的人品、能力、性情
等个人情况给予客观介绍，而又带有褒扬倾向的一种事务性信函。提交推荐信的目的，在于
使用人单位对申请人的某些主导方面获得客观了解，从而有利于对申请人的素质进行综合分
析，在众多申请者中择优录用。到国内的外资与中外合资企业、公司谋职，或到国外就业，根据欧美国家的传统，求职
者一般都要在求职信或简历中注明推荐人姓名和通讯地址，或注明愿意提供推荐人选，也就
是说愿意由推荐人提交推荐信函。当用人单位认为你初选合格，这时，有没有推荐信作为支
持性文件，或者有没有内容恰当、文辞合体的推荐信作为支持性文件，便成为最终能否录用
的关键环节。否则就会功亏一篑，导致求职失败。由此可见，推荐信写作也是求职全过程中
的一个重要环节，应该精心策划，不能马虎从事，掉以轻心。
4.3.2 推荐信的使用分类
从使用的角度，推荐信大体上可分为两个类型：一为通用型，一为专用型。 所谓通用型，是指用于非特定单位和非特定阅信人的推荐信。写这种推荐信时，无论用
何种信笺，信头部分都不可以注明写信人地址，只注明写信日期即可。同时，还可不写收信
人的封内地址，称呼部分也不用特定的称呼，而代之以“致有关人士”即可。由于通用型推荐信不是为特定对象而写，故适用范围较广。同一封推荐信可以复印多份，
供被推荐人邮寄或面交不同的用人单位的主管人员。 所谓专用型，是指推荐人应被推荐人的请求，或回复用人单位人事部门的询问而写给特
定单位或特定收信人的推荐信。这种推荐信不省略信头中的发信人地址（除非使用带有信头
的公文信笺）与发信日期，也不能省略收信人的封内地址和称呼。也就是说，这种推荐信的
信头、封内地址及称呼的写法与申请信相同。需要注意的是这种推荐信不能由被推荐人面交
对方，被推荐人可以阅读信文内容，如认为没有不当之处需要修改，就可由推荐人直接邮寄
给用人单位的人事主管部门。
4.3.3 推荐信写作要点
一、语气热情诚恳，介绍实事求是 推荐信应多写被推荐人的优点，要充分肯定其成绩，但也不能言过其实，或编造杜撰。
如果被推荐人的确有突出之处值得夸耀，介绍措辞仍以作些保留为好。推荐人对被推荐人的
赞许与推荐之意，应在实际情况的客观叙述之中自然流露出来。
二、信文篇幅以一页为宜推荐信的篇幅不应过长，一般以不超过一页为宜。但也不能寥寥数语，敷衍了事。否则，
被推荐人认为你缺乏玉成其事的诚意，而用人单位则会认为你对被推荐人缺乏基本的了解。
三，精心组织正文内容
正文一般包括以下几个方面，应予精心组织：
1、为便于对方查阅、归档，正文部分应尽快提及被推荐人的全名，此外，拼写被推荐人
的全名时，应与被推荐人的求职信或简历上的拼写法完全相同，否则，会使对方造成误解，不便对方资料归档，最终导致影响被推荐人的申请事宜。为避免失误，被推荐人在请求
他人写推荐信时，应主动将个人姓名的准确拼写方法及有关细节提供给推荐人，以方便推荐
人组织材料，构思写作。
2、开宗明义，表明态度，说明自己乐意推荐某人，也可连带说明自己同被推荐人之间的
关系，如师生关系、同事关系、上下级关系、邻里关系等。例如： 我极为高兴地推荐我的一名学生xxx进入贵公司担任xxx一职。 专用推荐信往往以回复用人单位的询问作为正文的起始语。例如：5月14日垂询有关xxx的大学学历事，兹欣然作复。
3、接下来可介绍与被推荐人何时认识、熟悉程度、有何联系等内容。
4、正文中的重点是对被推荐人的人品、能力、性格特点所作的介绍。组织这部分内容时，
要在客观叙述中体现出推荐人个人的倾向，尽可能做到言简意赅，点面结合。
5、正文的最后部分，一般都以提出建议作为结束，即推荐人建议用人单位对被推荐人的
申请惠予考虑，聘用被推荐人。有时，也可就对方接受自己的推荐表示谢意结束全文。例如：
毋庸置疑，xxx已为他的申请的职位作好了充分的准备。我毫无保留地支持他的申请。 如
蒙考虑xxx加入贵公司的申请，本人不胜感激。
四、签名之后应注明推荐人的职衔或职称 为示慎重与推荐的权威性，推荐信在签名之后应注明推荐人的职衔或职称。如果使用的
是普通信笺，而不是带有信头的公文信笺，为便于对方联系，最好在职衔或职称之下再注上
推荐人的通讯地址（包括单位名称、地址、电话以及邮政编码等）。有些公司在聘人上较为严格、慎重，为全面了解候选人各方面的表现，会要求他们提供
两到三份推荐信。一些公司根据自己希望了解的情况，设计了统一格式的推荐信，连同求职
申请表一同交给应征人，让应征人自己找合适的人（以前的任课老师、系主任、原单位负责
人等）填写，再直接寄给公司，或填好后交还应征人，由应征人连同求职申请表一同呈交公
司。
另一些公司不设计统一的推荐信表格，而由推荐人自行书写。 不论何种方式，推荐信一般可含下列项目： 被推荐人姓名（name of applicant） 通讯地址（mailing address）目前职业（present occupation） 雇主（employer）
专业（major）
推荐人姓名（name of reference）推荐信应实事求是，真实可信。一味夸奖优点，只字不提缺点，会使人怀疑、生厌。求
职推荐信的格式也可以简单些。能事先探听到对方公司阅信人或负责人（董事长、总经理、
人事部或劳资部主任等）的姓名最好，将其姓名告知写推荐信的人。这样，信可以确保寄到
该人士手中，不至于延误、丢失。读信人见到自己的大名写在信中，会倍感亲切。 如果不
知道对方的姓名，或无法断定究竟哪一个人甚至哪几个人会读这封信，也可以统称先生／女
士（dear sir / madam），或者称“致有关人士”（to whom it may concern）,这也是国际上
流行的称呼方法。

推荐信的份量直接关系到能否出国留学，能否获得奖学金等，作为对外联系的材料，是其中一份较为重要的文件。推荐信的目的是通过国内专家向对方介绍申请人的工作、学习和专业方向等情况。在出国申请是否成功的诸多要素中，有力的推荐信是录取的重要条件之一，其份量仅次于于本科成绩单和标准化考试（GRE、GMAT、TOEFL）成绩。
多数学校都要求申请人提交两封到三封的推荐信，由教授、系主任或工作主管直接寄给指定的单位。
一、选择推荐人
推荐信是了解申请人的重要依据，在研究生课程中尤其如此。申请人可以选择现在或以前的老师、教授或雇主。推荐人必须熟悉学生的学习情况，了解学生的学习目的是否明确，在学术上是否有前途，以及学生的适应能力、创造能力、品行和特长。
书写推荐信的最理想的人选是一封由系主任写，一封由专业课教授写，一封由自己的导师写。不过，对方若无规定，则除了自己的亲属之外，任何人皆可为推荐人。推荐人一般应具备高级技术职称，如教授、副教授、研究员、副研究员等。如果推荐人在国内外学术界享有盛誉，或者被申请就读学校聘为客座教授，或者曾经在该校讲过学，那么这样的推荐人写的推荐信就具有很强的效力了。
二、推荐信的内容
推荐信一般应包括下列内容：
被推荐人的基本情况介绍。侧重于个人的毕业时间、学校、所获学位以及个人的专业经历。
推荐人对被推荐人的基本评价。侧重于被推荐人的专业基础、个性、特点、工作态度和在学术上的前途估计。若是推荐研究生，推荐人还需进一步说明其深造学习的基础和当前所具备的研究能力。显然，恰如其分地评价被推荐人的基础、能力和前途，比言过其实的赞誉更令人情服，更具有实际意义。
推荐人可以着重介绍被推荐人曾经获得的奖励，发表过的论文，参加过的重要学术会议，以及曾在学生组织或学术团体中的任职等来支持自己的评价。
推荐人还必须清楚地表明被推荐人留学的身份是研究生还是访问学者，专业领域和研究方向是什么。 如果大学提供了现成的推荐表格，则必须按这类表格认真逐项填写。推荐表格中一般有学生综合评估的一项，即要求推荐人说明该生在所教的学生中应列为前5％，10％，或25％等。这种评估是指教授的个人评价，可以稍高一点。另外，推荐表格上常有许多难以填写的项目，遇到这种情形可填"I don't know"，亦不致对该生的评价有何严重影响。
推荐信尾必须有推荐人的亲笔签名，最好直接由推荐人寄给学校招生办官员或申请就读学校的系主任。如果由被推荐人寄送，可将推荐信装入信封内封好后由推荐人在信封口处亲笔签名以示保密。信封正面注明"A Letter Of Recommendation"，表明这是一封推荐信。

I got to know him personally when he was taking the course--Methodology of Management Research (or Methods of Management as stated in his transcripts), a course I taught, concerning basic research methods, especially quantitative approach to management research. Then he took one of my other courses--Advanced Strategic Management.
