In recent years, the Earth has been getting warmer. Average temperatures have risen. Possibly this is natural, but probably we are causing it．Modern people use a lot of electricity and drive a lot of cars. This puts carbon dioxide into the air and helps to make the planet warmer. When we hear this news, we may smile. No one likes long, cold winters, but, unluckily, there are many bad points about a warmer Earth.
First, the ice at the Poles melts and becomes water. The result is that the sea level becomes higher. Low islands will disappear. Cities on the coast will be in danger from the sea. Will Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong and Shanghai become like parts of Holland – lower than the sea? Possibly we will have to build walls to keep the water out. 时间飞逝，我们在忙碌中迎来了进入八年级的第一 考试。而面对这次考试的结果，我最大的感受就是不可理解。面对已经复习过的基础知识，学生们竟然再次出错。面对简单的阅读理解，他们竟然觉得陌生单词多，是难上加难。面对要求明确的作文要求，竟然无视其存在而随意乱写一通。明明要求过去式，有些学生都写成一般现在式，结果满满的作文仅得两三分。我觉得这次失误最大的两个方面：作文和句型转换。我觉得应该通过这次试卷分析找到自己在工作方面的不足，并且用来指导进一步的教学。
一、成绩分析
八年级 一 班与八年级 三 班 的 英语 基础比较差，接到这两个班，我压力很大。这次考试 ， 两个班的优秀率和合格率 相比，三班的 合格率 相对来说差一点。两个班的平均分差不多，都有点差强人意。
二、原因分析以及改进措施
通过对英语试卷和考试情况的分析，针对英语教学中存在的问题，英语教学还要在以下几个方面作进一步的努力：
1. 课改理念，钻研新教材，夯实英语基础
英语试题改革虽然强调了由过去的比较注重知识考查向注重综合语言运用能力的考查,但是我们应该清醒地认识到能力高于基础，但必须依托基础，考查能力，并不意味着削弱对基础知识的要求，而是要联系实际。试题主要考查新课标和教材所规定学生应掌握的英语基础知识。许多练习很多学生“一看就会，一做就错”，这种现象比较普遍，有时学生做题失误原因是对于常见用语掌握的熟练程度还不够。其根本原因就在于基础不牢，只有扎扎实实从基础做起，才能最终达到“一看就会，一做就对”。英语基础知识包括：词汇、语法、句型等。词汇是语言的基本单位，没有足够的词汇量，是学不好英语的。词汇教学不仅要重视，还要讲究方法，注意“词不离句，句不离文”，既教词汇，更关注词汇使用的语境，注意常用词汇的使用和辨析，以及一词多义的掌握。语法是语言的经脉，没有基本的语法体系框架，便不可能顺利理解语篇，复习中一定要引导学生梳理知识，帮助他们形成知识网络，把基本概念理清，掌握语法规则、习惯用语等基础知识，逐步引导学生灵活运用英语知识的能力。
2 . 确立语篇意识和综合意识，培养综合运用能力
八年级英语试题突出了语篇功能和综合运用能力。阅读理解试题是分值较高的试题，因此，英语阅读理解水平的高低至关重要。阅读理解试题通过不同体裁，不同题材，从文章主旨大意能找出文章中的主题，理解故事的情节，预测故事情节的发展和可能的结局，并能查找具体细节，根据上下文猜测词义，理解作者意图和态度，把握文章的基本结构。因此，我们在平时的教学中要根据教材切实搞好语篇教学，并有意识、有计划地增加英语阅读量，题材、体裁要尽量多样化，通过大量的阅读，扩大学生的知识面，使学生熟悉不同体裁、不同题材文章的作题思路，提高阅读速度，提高驾驭语篇的能力。选材要尽量要贴近学生的生活实际，注意时代性、生活性和社会性。语篇难度适当，措辞浅显、生动、自然、地道，语句灵活且富于变化。在平时要通过阅读培养学生阅读多种文体的能力，如何从文章中获取信息的能力和运用英语解决实际问题的能力。在训练中要注意方法的多样化和灵活性，同时关注学生运用英语进行直接思维意识能力和习惯的培养，启发他们学会运用多种不同的方法来表达同样的思想，提高用英语进行思维的能力，逐步培养良好的英语语感，提高英语语用能力。
3 . 加强英语课外阅读，提高信息素养
英语知识的获得与能力的提高是在不断的听、说、读、写的训练过程中逐步形成的，而教材和课堂所能提供的训练还是比较有限的，课标要求五级学生除教材外，课外阅读量应累计达到15万字。因此，要加强理解语篇的能力训练，增强英语语感。 4 . 规范训练，改进学习方法
从学生的答卷情况来看，有些学生(包括一些英语基础较好的学生)在答题中反映出的种种问题必须引起高度重视。因此，在日常教学中教师除了为学生做具体的示范和技术指导，如提示审题方法、研读试题意图等以外，还要认真抓好平时的规范训练，养成认真审题、规范答案的好习惯，尽可能减少由于审题不仔细、答题符号不规范等不必要的失误。另外，还要善于分析学生，找出学生的薄弱环节，合理安排好教材知识梳理、专项训练和应试技巧指导。
所以，在今后的教学中应注意开阔学生视野，多渠道、大容量地给学生提供具有时代感的英语信息，加强语言运用能力的培养，少讲解，多给学生实际运用语言的机会，在用中学英语，在学中用英语。
