篇一：(英语作文拿分第六讲)之副词的特殊地位
class="txt">有时候当大家写好一个句子的时候，明明没有语法错误，短语或者句型也用的比较高级，但仍觉得这个句子看上去不是那么的美，那么到底问题出现在哪里呢？答案就是缺乏副词的运用，副词是对一个人说话时情感的强调， 比如说，I believe he is right, 和I totally believe he is right相比，无论是语气上还是语感上都要失色不少。这样的例子其实数不胜数。
如果你是一位英语爱好者，当你看英文名著，或者是看英文报道、抑或是China Daily等英语报刊时，你会发现，文章中会时不时运用到大量副词去滋润文章和句子，让读者读起来，仿佛身临其中、乐此不疲。
倘若你是一位即将参加高考的学习，倘若你只是想拿及格的分数，那你大可不去理会，但是你若想拿高分，一定要学会灵活运用副词，不要想到副词就只想到Very，每个该用副词的地方，你都用Very去替代了，其他副词一个都想不到，那样老师怎么可能给你高分。
如下副词是我看英文名著时，亲自摘抄下来的，一篇作文下来，能正确运用2-3个下面我所列举的副词，那么分数一定会有所提升。
Perfectly：完美地、极佳地、完全、十分
权威例子如下：
I see perfectly what he means.(我完全理会他的意思，也可以译为我十分理解他的意思）
Remarkably：显著地；非常地；引人注目地
例子如下：
These markets have much in common, but each is also remarkably different.（这些市场有很多共同点，但每个市场也都显著/非常不同）
思维开拓：这个副词可以单独放在一个句子的首位，用逗号隔开，意思是，“很明显地；引人注目地；”比如：Remarkably, he is a rich man with handsome salary. 就可以翻译为，“很显然，他是一位拿高薪的富有人士。”
Infinitely: 无限地；极其地；很
例子如下：
Your English is infinitely better then my German.（你的英语比我的德语好多了）
The Universe is infiitely large.（宇宙是无限大的）
Exceedingly: 非常；极其；极度；极端
例子如下：
Life is exceedingly brief. （生命是很短暂的）
He drove exceedingly fast.（他车开的很快）
Extremely: 非常；极其；极端
例子如下：
I feel that that period in my life is extremely valuable.（我觉得，那段经历在我的生命中是非常宝贵的）
Abominably: 可恶地；极端地；可恨地；（多用于贬义的叙述中）
例子如下：
He is a abominably bad man.（他是一个非常坏的人）
In order to extricate himself from the predicament, he took the simplest course, he lied abominably.（为了摆脱窘境，他采取了最简单的方法，撒了一个弥天大谎。）
Scarcely: 几乎不；简直不；简直没有
例子如下：
He is scarcely able to cope with that situation. （他几乎不知道如何去应对这个局面）
Such an idea was scarcely thinkable ten years ago.(十年前，这样的想法几乎是难以想象的）
Principally: 主要地；首要地；大部分地
例子如下：
He married her principally for the sake of her father’s property.（他娶她，主要为了她发亲的财产）
拓展思维：这个副词和Mainly, Chiefly的意思很类似，甚至可以相互调换使用，只是相比而言，这个principally更高级一些。
Wholly: 完全地；十足；全部
例子如下：
The criticism was wholly unjustified.（这样的批评，完全是不公平的）
I wholly believe what you said.（我完全相信你说的话）
Peculiarly: 特别地；非常地；尤其地；古怪地；
例子如下：
He is peculiarly fortunate in his wife.（他有这样的妻子是非常幸运的）
Fully: 充分地；完全地；彻底地
例子如下：
She is fully justified in doing so.（她这样做是很有道理的）
Her last hope rested fully upon her husband.（她最后的希望全部寄托在了丈夫的身上）
Readily: 容易地；乐意地；无困难地
These data are not readily available.（这些资料不是轻易得到的）
He made the proposal, and I readily consented to it.（他提出的这个建议，我欣然同意）
