2008年11月14日北美托福机经
阅读：
今天加试了阅读，中途还出去了次restroom ， 所以基本都忘了。
记得除加试以外的最后一篇是讲欧洲与非洲 埃及那边的trade ， 我记得的有以下几个点：
提到字母语言的形成对商业的影响，这个点有好几个题，
还有海外贸易和内陆贸易什么的，讲到海岸线
两个国家为了贸易integraion了，但相互依存度太大了等等
听力：
第一个section不记得了，值得注意的是好像是第二个lecture吧，里面有一个单词屏幕上显示出来了，粉笔写在黑板上那种，那个很重要，和那个相关的题很多。
第二个section:
Q1: 对话讲的是学校更新了dorm的lundry，然后校报的一个学生去采访负责的老师，问为什么要换，
为什么洗衣费用也提高了，不是fee 里面已经包括了设备更新费了吗？难道不够了Q2: Lecture有一个ecology的，讲深海的worm，他有三个部分（red strcutrue ,green struture 还有一个 ），有道题会问这三个部分的作用，还有提到他和green structure的细菌的共生，就像蜜蜂和花一样。
口语：
口语和作文我记得最清楚了，大家好好准备下吧：
Q1: 你会不会去一个foreign country 上univ or college，为什么？
Of course I will. I wanna do this for the following reasons. first, I have a chance to expose myself to another culture which probably is very different from my own. for
example, I can get to know something about the Amercan Culture if i go to an American college or University. second , because I like to make friends with people coming from different parts of the world. like, I really enjoy chatting with people coming from America, Australia, Britain etc. that provides me with an opportunity to eich my knowledege. I like that very much.
Q2: 当你去一个陌生的城市旅游时，你prefer travel by car or by public transprtation such as bus, 为什么？
Personally speaking, I prefer to travel by means of public transportation such as bus. I wanna do this for the folowing reasons. first because transportation like bus usually go kindda slowly. this gives a chance to have a loook at their buildings and even people
walking on streets. I really think it as an important part of my traveling.but if i travel by car, it goes fast. i do think i will miss a lot. second, i enjoy chatting with local people which is also very crucial in my travel phylosophy. so if i am on a bus, i may ask someone beside me some questions about the city they are living in or ask them how I can go to
somewhere, or even ask them how to make the best out of my city tour. I think it is very interesting, whereas if i travel by car, it seems that there is no way for me to do this.
Q3: 学校有个通知，说期末考试期间会延长图书馆的cafe的营业时间。
然后一男一女讨论，男的说他赞成，
首先期末期间他会很忙，没时间cook, 复习会很累，所以饿了他可以在cafe里吃，
其次cafe提供了一个晚上和同学聚会讨论问题的地方，以前他们得去外面找这么一个可以大声说话的地方，现在不用了。
Q4：reading我只记得题目的两个单词：award theory，
Lecture就是举了教授的自己的亲生经历，他搬到一个新地方后，如何和邻居相处。第一个人和他兴趣相投，喜欢一样的电影 书 baseball，然后两人成为了好朋友，到现在还一起打
baseball。第二个人是在party上认识的，没什么共同语言，虽然很客气，但并没有什么来往。Q5：男的遇到了问题(转载自：www.dXf5.cOm 东星资源网:11月14号托福)：他们有个study group，轮着到7个成员家里dinner，dinner完了以后讨论学习，今天轮到他了，但这个挫男今天下午在lib学习忘了这事了，他和女生碰面时已经很晚了，来不及回家cook了。
然后这个男的自己说了两个solution，
一个是去附近的餐馆买点吃的，但不是很可口，
还有就是打电话给每个同学，让他们晚一点来，留时间给他做饭，但这样大家会饿着。Q6: 讲mimicry（拟态伪装），说有的动物怎么逃避天敌，有两点
第一个好像是伪装成predator 怕的东西，来吓跑predator，这个举的fly的例子
第二个是伪装成predator的样子，predator以为是自己人，就不攻击他了，举的是moth的例子
问题就是让你复述一下这两个例子来解释一下mimicry。
作文：
1. 小作文：关于yawn(打哈欠)的几个理论
Reading:
讲了关于yawning的原因的三个理论：
一是当血液内氧气不足时，会yawn,
二是说yawn是孩子出生前在妈妈肚子里起某个作用的behabior
三是说yawn是为了cool blood flowing in the brain
Lecture:
女教授反驳了这三点
一：照文章说的，血氧充足时人就不会打哈欠了，可是并不是这样，照打不误
二：很多仅在baby时又function的行为如sucking the hand会在长大后disappear，可是yawn不是
三：照这么说，在环境温度较低时，人就不应该打哈欠了，可实际是无论环境问题如何，照打。
大作文：
children should only play sports for fun, or play sports in competition or contests?孩子参加运动，是应该只参加游戏性质的运动还是应该也参加竞技性的运动
