Abstract. For a long time, Zhengzhou area rural economy is relatively backward, primary and secondary education is restricted, the school sports teaching is not essential to the state. In the region of Zhengzhou rural primary and secondary school physical education and health curriculum teaching on the basis of investigation, through theoretical analysis, find out Zhengzhou area rural economy to owe develop area school sports development of the shortcomings of the proposed countermeasures, and will form a new physical model of quality education, rural education development has prominent significance.

Strengthen and pay attention to students" extracurricular sports activities, and improve the quality of the students. According to the students" age, sex, the hobby different characteristics, organization of sports activities, improve the students" enthusiasm to participate in. Each year, the class should formulate the extracurricular sports at least, make sure of the time, the extracurricular activities, the teacher in charge and counseling teachers should actively participate in. At the same time various sports competition, rich campus culture life, so as to improve the development mechanism being young students for the society, conveying qualified useful personnel. Increase the school sports funds, actively improve managerial condition.
