近几年，英语高考考纲对书面表达的准确性、行文的连贯性和语言的得体性提出了很高的要求。在写作中如果能恰当使用一些固定句式，不仅体现出写作者用英语进行思维与表达的能力，又符合了高考考纲的要求，肯定能在书面表达上获得高分。It句型是英语经典句型，能灵活运用它会使文章增光添彩。下面是几个根据汉语提示、应用it句型写的句子。
①我课堂上认真听讲，记笔记。业余时间去图书馆
阅读。
In class,it’s my duty to listen attentively and make notes if necessary.In my free time,I make it a rule to go to the library to search information.(it作形式主语和形式宾语)
②因此，从上面的讨论中我们很清楚毅力能克服任何困难。
Therefore,It is obvious to us from the above discussion that deterimination can overcome any difficulty.（it做形式主语）
现将几个与之有关的句式总结如下，希望同学们能将它们灵活运用。
一、强调句型
“It is (was)…that (who) …”
It was not until…that…(直到…才…)
①约翰的成功与运气无关，是多年的努力造就他现在的成就。
John"s success has nothing to do with good luck. It is years of hard work that has made him what he is today.
②我想知道是什么使他这么兴奋。
I just wonder what it is that makes him so excited.
二、和时间连用的句型
It was+一段时间 + before 从句(一般过去式) ：过了多久……才……
It will be +一段时间 before从句（一般现在式）：过了多久……才会……
It is（has been）+一段时间+since (一般过去式) ：自
从……已经过了……时间
It will be/was +时间点+when+一般现在时态/一般过去时：某事发生的时间是……
It was 时间状语 that 句子其他成分：强调句型
①要过一百多年这个国家才能恢复原来的样子。
It will be more than 100 years before the country begins once again to look as it did before.
②要至少过三个多月他才能复原恢复工作。
It would be at least three more months before he could receover and return to work.
三、it作为形式宾语
1. feel/think/believe/make/consider it+ adj/n +to do/宾语从句
①他没弄清楚何时何地开会。
He didn’t make it clear when and where the meeting would be held.
②他每天早晨去公园锻炼。
He made it a rule to do morning exercise in the park.
2. 固定句型
①亏你帮忙，我才及时完成了工作。
I owe it to you that I finished my work in time.
②我认为他们支持这个提议是理所当然的。
I take it for granted that they will support this idea.
四、it 做形式主语
①随着社会的发展，我们有必要精通英语和计算机。
With the society developing very fast, it’s quite necessary/important that we (should) have a good knowledge of English and computer.
②好像他知道这件事。
It seems/appears that he has known the thing.

I remember once being on a bus and looking at a stranger. It happened that he suddenly looked back at me and our eyes met. My first reaction was to turn my eyes from him. It occurred to me that if I had continued to maintain eye contact, he would have felt it possible for me to be rude and aggressive.
It would made a lot difference to me whether he thought of me impolite or not ,because it would be not long before I went abroad for further study.
