说起理想，我想起曾经有人给我讲过这么一个笑话——记着问深山里的一个老人妇：你的理想是什么？答：吃个菜馍馍。问：给你十万会做什么？答：每天吃菜馍馍；又问，给你二十万呢？答：每天吃肉馍馍；最后问：给你一百万呢？答：每天一手菜馍馍，一手肉馍馍。你们可能会觉得老妇人的理想好笑，但是谁的理想在说出来的时候不是被别人笑话或者表示不屑甚至嘲讽的？
奥运史上第一个独得三枚田径金牌的女子是美国的威尔玛·鲁道夫，她辉煌的成绩足以令世人感叹，可她曾经被医生判定为终生残疾，曾经有六年不会走路。但年幼的威尔玛立志要成为最优秀的田径运动员，周围的人都表示不可置信，并且还将不信任转为嘲讽。可她并不就此退缩，这个可望而不可即的理想激励着她不顾别人的嘲讽，日复一日年复一年的努力，终于赢得了鲜花和掌声，创造了辉煌的奇迹。她的成功在于她将遥不可及的理想转变为了现实去实现。有一位哲人说过：“梦里走了许多路，醒来还是在床上。”它形象地告诉我们一个道理：现实和理想是有差距的，人不能总是沉湎与理想而不去努力实现。
前人说得好，“有志之人立长志，无志之人常立志”，那些无志之人的“志”，就是美梦，就是所谓的“理想”，他们把自己的蓝图构画得再美好，再完善，也只是空中楼阁，海市蜃楼罢了。同学们，你是立长志之人，还是常立志之人呢？作为一名大学生就应该在这一时期，努力学习，奋发向上，找到一片属于自己的天空。青年是祖国的希望，民族的未来。每个人主宰着自己的明天。
最后我想用梁启超的话来结束今天的演讲：“少年智则国智，少年富则国富，少年强则国强，少年进步则国进步，少年雄于地球，则国雄于地球。”让我们洒一路汗水，饮一路风尘，嚼一跟艰辛，让青春在红旗下继续燃烧；愿每一位青年都怀抱着自己的理想，将理想转变为现实，在现实里实现理想！在人生的航程上不断乘风破浪，奋勇前进！

辩论赛 开篇立论 主席好，在座的辩友们好。首先，我想先界定一下本次辩论的两个概念，理想和现实。理想是人们在实践过程中形成的、有实现可能性的、对未来社会和自身发展的向往与追求；而现实是当下的即时物，是指客观存在的事物，是既定的、无法改变的。在本次的辩论中，我方认可现实与理想对于人类、社会都具有着重大的意义，而我们判断重要与否的标准是：理想和现实，对于个人及社会的发展，何者更重要？我方辩论将一切从人与社会出发，又归于人与社会的发展。
从个人角度来看，其一、理想能够使人明确前进方向，激发人的潜能，从而促进人的发展。理想是真善美的，一个人只有有了真正的理想，有了为之奋斗的目标，才有了前进的动力，才有了使自己不断迎难而上，战胜困难的勇气，最终促使自己走向成功。但是一个人如果更注重现实，则容易局限其自身的发展。其二、理想能够满足人们的精神追求，并使其获得认同感与存在感。就人的全面发展来说，物质的保障是生存的基础，而相对于不同其他生物的人的生活而言，精神追求更为迫切。鱼不能没有水，就像人不能脱离现实，而鱼前进游弋是本能，人要成为一个真正的人，离不开的就是理想与追求。无论是前进或是挫折中得到精神的满足，人都将得到慰藉心灵的归属感。
从社会角度来看，理想能极大地促进社会发展，推进社会进步，彰显人类存在的价值。人类一直有着不断超越自我，超越现实的强烈愿望，而理想恰恰激励着我们力求超越现实的时间和空间，跨越历史的界限，去探索和追求更加美好的未来。现实自身是不会发展的，有了理想社会的发展和探索，才有了新的方向。从而促进了社会的进步，人存在的价值才得到了充分体现。
上述强调了理想的重要地位。
下面，我想说明几点理想比现实更重要的理由：
1）颠覆传统、新兴的理念与事物正层出不穷，那些曾经被主流现实打击和抵触的人与事，足以证明了对于人与社会的发展，理想比现实更重要。
2）事物是发展的，在发展的世界中，理想大力地推动着发展。对于现实的愚忠，束缚着我们的思想，阻碍着我们前进的步伐。理想是动力的源泉，对现状的永不满足、对未来不懈追求，是理想让世界更美好。因而，对于人与社会的发展，理想比现实更重要。
3）理想的实践不依赖于现实，而是有待新的理想来检验。千百年来，人类的进步与社会的发展，是理想的产物，是一次又一次突破现实枷锁的结果，我们思考并遵从着伟大的理想，是这样的精神追求令我们改变着不可改变的事物，热爱着这本不完美的世界。
最后，我方想再一次重申我们的观点。我们提倡的理想：不同于梦想、空想，真正具有价值的理想，是立足眼前的物质和精神需求，憧憬未来的生产生活目标，期盼满足更高的物质和精神需求。它是个人与社会发展最大的动力与支撑，它驱动人类穷尽一生追求、不放弃。你是否对于当下现实有着不满与改变的诉求，你是否为了理想而努力奋斗，这正是理想战胜了现实，最有说服力的证据。
