I took part in the general training IELTS test on 12 December 2012 at University of Technology, Sydney Australia (Centre Number: AU140) for the purpose of applying for Skilled – Graduate (Temporary) visa (subclass 485) in Australia. My candidate number was ******. I am writing to you to apply for a re-mark of writing part of my IELTS test.
In order to be able to apply for the work visa, I need to get at least band 5.5 for all of the four components (Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening). But I only get 4.5 for writing part. I have been studying in Australia for 4 years and finished my bachelor degree last month. I know that I will receive a bachelor degree with Distinction which is the highest level of my degree in the graduation ceremony held in May 2009. I think my writing skill should be at least band 6. I even got band 6 for writing in an academic IELTS test three and a half years ago. It will be inconvenient for me to sit another IELTS test as the earliest test I can book is in April 2009 and my current student visa will expire in March 2009. Therefore, I would like to have my writing part remarked.
I found a part time job in an Australia public listed company before finishing my bachelor degree and now I am working full time in that company. I believe my employment with my company is a strong evidence of my English competence, as my resume and cover letter were reviewed in the recruitment process.
The human resource manager told me that if I can get the work visa, she would give me a permanent full time job offer.
In other words, if I cannot get 6 for writing, I will not be able to apply for the work visa and lose my job subsequently. As you know, now it is very hard to find a job during the current recessionary economy. I really don’t want to lose my job just because I cannot get the work visa. Furthermore, I am working on a project which can improve the work efficiency of my department and I am the only one in my department who has the skills to do it. If I lose my job, it will certainly bring inconvenience to my department.

最近看到大家有关复议的帖子较多，本人前一阵子复议成功过，无忧雅思论坛上各位兄弟姐妹对本人复议功不可没，因此在此发些复议经验供大家参考。但复议不是小事儿，大家要仔细斟酌。。。。。。
1。有人说复议结果只有维持原判和提高成绩，不会降低成绩。还有消息说可能会降低成绩。但以上说法均没有确切考证。要复议的兄弟姐妹们应仔细斟酌。。。
2。自己算算各项成绩，看是否有复议的必要，即复议后，如果单项成绩提高，总分平均后会不会提高。若单项有所提高，但总分不会提高，那么复议的意义不大。毕竟复议费要690RMB啊!
本人R 7，W 7，L 7，S 5 四项平均分为6.5故总分6.5 。由于考完口语感觉良好，5分不甘心，因此提出S单项复议，结果S由5到6(口语以一分为最小单位)，四项平均分为6.75，故总分由6.5到7。
3。复议时带上自己的身份证，雅思成绩单(原件，要上交给文化处的)，复议申请书，以上文件最好准备复印件一套，以备不时之需。

复议就是从新把考卷批一遍。作为一个受益者，把我对复议的了解与大家分享。

大使馆的人告诉我全国一共有4个可以复议的地方，北京大使馆。重庆广州和上海领事馆。看你考的地方在那个领事馆的管辖范围内就在那个使领馆复议。
复议的材料基本相同：690块大洋，一封申请复议的英文信，你的地址条，但是对成绩单的要求不同：北京大使馆要求的是复印件，广州领事馆要求的是元件，并且再复议期间成绩单不能使用。
最后是大家最关心的东西--复议的成功率：领事馆的人告诉我成功率较小，一般都是原来的成绩不变

因为去年的伦敦之行给我留下了很好的印象，加之对英音的崇尚，于是乎，我便决心毕业后远赴英伦完成我的硕士学位。As?a?result,我也加入了IELTS一族的行列。因为我本身就是英语专业的学生，因此对IELTS的听力，口语和写作豪不担心，只是在临考前做完了一本北语出版社出版的阅读练习题，参加了一次北语雅思培训部组织的摸考。在参加的两次口语摸考中，两位考官都给了我9分的成绩。
不过我自己很清楚，作为中国人来说，要想在真正的IELTS口语考试中得到9分几乎是不可能的，但是我心里多多少少也有了点儿底儿：8分还是没有问题的！我对5月11日一天的考试（上午口试，下午笔试）感觉还算良好，就是后悔听力没有试前练习，有点儿没进入状态，遗漏了一些information；其他项目都还算是正常发挥。尤其是口语这一项，更是觉得拿个8分应该没问题，总分嘛，7是理所应当的！就这样，3个星期过去了，成绩出来了：口语7分，总分也只有区区6.5分！我的心情一下子跌入了谷底，我甚至开始对自己的能力产生了怀疑：7分？我的口语只有7分的水平嘛？我把我的成绩告诉了学校里一位对IELTS很有经验的老师，老师马上便建议我去英国大使馆文化处要求对IELTS成绩进行复议！
复议？这还是我第一次听说，能有什么变化嘛？英国人会承认自己犯了错误嘛？但不管怎样，我以一种“背水一战”的心态，听从了老师的建议，去了位于亮马河的英国大使馆文化处要求复议。当我告诉那位工作人员我要求对口语进行复议的时候，那位工作人员用一种不置信的口吻问我是否有过留学经历，还是对自己当天的发挥特别有信心。在他看来，中国人能得7分就已经是很高的了！我当时心里还真有点儿动摇了：小700块钱的复议费用，如果换来的是“维持原判”，那企不是双重打击嘛？但不管怎么样，我还
是缴了费，耐心地开始“静候佳音”了！1个月过去了，1个半月过去了，2个月过去了，我中间2次去文化处咨询我的复议进程，均未果??我自己也开始犯嘀咕了：不是说1个多月嘛？怎么到了现在还杳无音信？到底是成还是不成，怎么也得给我个说法吧？这么一拖再拖，留学的事情也说不定得给我耽误了！然而，就在昨天，当我回到家时，看到手机上有个陌生的号码，打回去，一听，原来是英国大使馆文化处打来的。“一定是我的IELTS成绩回来了！”

今天下午，我带着我的旧成绩单前往英国大使馆文化处。还是那位工作人员，还是难以置信的神情，把我的新成绩单和英国来的确认信交给了我。“可能是因为你的口语得到了9分，所以才会等了这么久的时间。你可是有史以来第一个口语得9分的中国人了！”（我知道自己只不过是“之一”，前有古人，后肯定也会有来者！）我拿着新成绩单和确认信，仔仔细细地看了一遍，生怕有什么变故??
“哈哈，7.5在手，英国大学任我走！”我想说，我不是什么adventurer，从来也未曾risk?life，要不是因为那位老师的建议，我也决不会选择复议这条路。我非常感谢我的这位老师！并且，我也想对所有感觉被不公正对待的IELTS的考生们说：“如果你对自己有信心，那么就请不要害怕，勇敢一点，面对人生的挑战！”祝所有的IELTS考生们：好运！

也谈关于雅思口语的复议！
雅思口语一共复议了两次（三次考试）.所谓的两次，是一共提交了两次复议，三次考试是第二次复议，是
一次提交了两次考试的成绩。
第一次复议，目标是口语从4分到5分，当时并没有半分制，结果没有成功。记得考试前，信心十分不足，在考试前，同是考试的人告诉我，5分好过，只要对着考官笑，张嘴说就能得5分。估计是我笑得不够好，
