  2.Tennis and its Cultural Connotations
While the modern game of tennis originated in late 19th century England, most historians believe that the games ancient origin is from 12th century France, but the ball was then struck with the palm of the hand. An interjection used as a call from the server to his opponent. Flexibility and mobility exercises are essential for players of all standards so that they can be adequately prepared for dynamic activity during a game. It is also important to do exercises using both sides of the body to counteract the one-sided development of body musculature. The dominant arm becomes overdeveloped because of the asymmetrical increase in size of the dominant shoulder girdle. This affects body posture and may result in stresses and strains causing injuries in other parts of the body. Tennis involves a considerable amount of side-to-side movement. To minimize injuries, tennis shoes should have a strong heel cup and heel counter. Also, the forefoot should be made of sturdy material to cope with the dragging of the trail leg during low ground shots.
Muscle imbalance, insufficient recovery, and biomechanical compensations are among the top health risks that tennis players encounter when they compete and practice too much, a common habit among professionals and avid players. This guide to playing healthy tennis offers descriptions and illustrations of the physical complexity of every tennis motion, demonstrating the astonishing array of potential injuries threatening the unprepared player. Optimal performance and low risk of injury are the top results for tennis players who adhere to the training program, proper nutrition, and equipment selection recommendations in this sports medicine manual. Consideration is given to the specific physical risks that juniors, veterans, female competitors, and wheelchair athletes may encounter.

The athletics should make the body check at a regular term. Athletics with illness are prohibited to take part in the exercises. When it is serious, proliferation would occur. It will result in fatigue fracture sometimes. This is relevant to anterior muscle restrained contraction in the events in the sports process. Exercise-induced tibia is due to the excessive exercises of running, jumping and leg-drive backward, etc, with hard shoe sole in the cement ground and hard ground surface. So pay special attention to the pain of the tibia surface and the bone. When there are adverse feelings, adjust the sports load of the lower limbs. Sport psychology is an interdisciplinary science that draws on knowledge from the fields of kinesiology and psychology. It involves the study of how psychological factors affect performance and how participation in sport and exercise affect psychological and physical factors. In addition to instruction and training of psychological skills for performance improvement, applied sport psychology may include work with athletes, coaches, and parents regarding injury, rehabilitation, communication, team building, and career transitions.
  3.3.Contribution of tennis to leisure
Different sports require fields of different size and shape. Some stadiums are designed primarily for a single sport while others can accommodate different events, particularly ones with retractable seating. The most common multiple use design combines a football pitch with a running track, a combination which generally works fairly well, although certain compromises must be made. The major drawback is that the stands are necessarily set back a good distance from the pitch, especially at the ends of the pitch. In the case of some smaller stadiums, there are not stands at the ends. When there are stands all the way around, the stadium takes on an oval shape. When one end is open, the stadium has a horseshoe shape. All three configurations are common, especially in the case of American college football stadiums. Rectangular stadiums are more common in Europe, especially for football where many stadiums have four often distinct and very different stands on the four sides of the stadium. These are often all of different sizes and designs and have been erected at different periods in the stadium"s history. The vastly differing character of European football stadiums has led to the growing hobby of ground hopping where spectators make a journey to visit the stadium for itself rather than for the event held there.

With the continuous worsening of the climate, the implementation of indoor sports activities is loved by more and more sports enthusiasts. Tennis is a kind of efficient method of sports activities. The shuttlecock is a feathered projectile whose unique aerodynamic properties cause it to fly differently than the balls used in most racquet sports; in particular, the feathers create much higher drag, causing the shuttlecock to decelerate more rapidly than a ball. Shuttlecocks have a much higher top speed, when compared to other racquet sports. Because shuttlecock flight is affected by wind, competitive tennis is played indoors. Tennis is also played outdoors as a casual recreational activity, often as a garden or beach game. The feathers impart substantial drag, causing the shuttlecock to decelerate greatly over distance. The shuttlecock is also extremely aerodynamically stable: regardless of initial orientation, it will turn to fly cork-first, and remain in the cork-first orientation. For those can carry on playing tennis can make the heart beat with force and become stronger. The vital capacity can enlarge and the endurance can improve.
