For most people, Christmas is a time to relax in the company of family and friends. But for Santa Claus, and the thousands of fake Santas who impersonate（模仿） him every year, the Christmas season is time to get to work.

The UN weather agency warned on Tuesday there was a good chance of an "El Nino" climate phenomenon in the Pacific Ocean this year, bringing droughts（干旱） and heavy rainfall to the rest of the world.
The World Meteorological (气象的) Organization (WMO) said its modeling suggested a "fairly large potential for an El Nino, most likely by the end of the second quarter of 2016".

据报道，2015年12月4日上午，教育部举行《教育规划纲要》实施5周年发布会，教育部高校学生司副司长王辉表示，目前增加使用高考全国卷省份的任务基本完成。安徽、福建等8省份已申请2016年起使用全国卷。全国卷使用省份将从2014年的15个增加到2016年的26个。
其实，在去年两会期间，教育部部长袁贵仁关于考试招生制度改革的答记者问就曾引起广泛关注。那时教育部部长袁贵仁表示：“今年（2015年）将扩大3个省份在高考中使用国家统一试卷，明年
再扩大7个省份，至明年将有25个省份在高考中使用由国家考试中心统一命制的试卷。”2015年3月，教育部新闻发言人续梅曾表示，2016年将增加7个省，包括湖北、广东、陕西、四川、重庆、福建和安徽。

据统计，2016年山东、海南、四川三省部分科目采用全国卷，北京、天津、上海、江苏、浙江五省市全部科目2016年仍将自主命题。
