Step 1. Let students know when to use the rise intonation through some examples. Then ask them to read these sentences by themselves.

Step 2. Ask students to practice the conversation A1 in pairs. Then ask students to make conversation like the one in A1. try to make the voices rise and fall correctly.

Step 3: 1.Work in pairs to find out your classmate’s habits. Ask their partner the questions and write down the answers on P25.
