“成功在于持之以恒”这样的题目放在当下任何一个准备高考的同学面前，恐怕都不会很陌生。但要把这样一个“大路”的题目写得好、写得实，能出一点新意就不简单了。这篇文章从“实”这个角度来要求应该说是达到了一定的水平，也略有一些新意。
说“实”，是因为文章例证充分。文章用柏拉图按老师的要求每天甩手三百下，直到几个月后坚持下来的就只有一个柏拉图这个例子开头，接下来分析论证时又列举了马克思、曹雪芹和爱因斯坦坚持不懈、持之以恒干实事的实例。从议论文要求说理充分这一点上来说，文章能用有说服力的名家做例，应该说写作者还是有相当的文化积累的。

三校生高考作文五大问题
“三校生”高考语文试题与普通高中生高考语文试题的内容与要求不尽相同，如“三校生”整卷满分是100分，而普通高中生整卷满分是150分；前者试卷中有独立的“语文基础知识”内容的考核，而后者则没有；前者作文满分是40分，而后者作文满分是70分等等。
平心而论，近两年来“三校生”高考作文的总体水平是不尽如人意的，从阅卷的角度看，大致存在以下一些问题（以2003年高考作文为例）。
1) 不会议论.2003年试卷的作文题目是：生活中确实有许许多的值得欣赏的人，甚至每一个人都有值得别人欣赏的地方。结合提示，请以《学会欣赏别人》为题，写一篇700字左右的议论文。题目明明告诉你写成“议论文”，但还是有不少考生不懂“议论”：一种是通篇写成记叙文，诸如“我学会了欣赏老师（妈妈、同学……）”，接下去通篇记叙、描写老师（妈妈、同学……）怎么怎么好，俨然是一篇写人记事的记叙文。还有一种是举例论证时，“例子”中加入太多的记叙描写，为何欣赏这个人，如何欣赏这个人，不在“为何”、“如何”上做文章，“叙”远远多于“议”，全然不见了“议论文”的影子。
2) 空发议论.全文反反复复地唠叨要“发现”、“欣赏”别人的优点，而“为什么”要“发现、欣赏”，如何“发现、欣赏”全然没讲，也就是说既无“摆事实”，也没“讲道理”，文章“没血没肉”，失之空洞。
3) 举例俗套.不少考生，确立了论点，要用事实（例子）来证明论点时，大多流于俗套。如不少考生都把论点定在要会欣赏“平凡人”身上的优点，而要“例证”这一观点时，则言必称“徐虎”，话必谈“包起帆”，大量的重复、雷同，从一个侧面反映了“三校生”阅读少、积累少的毛病。
4) 缺少文法写作方法、表现手法的平淡.这也是一个比较普遍的现象，如对对比论证、比喻论证方法、夹叙夹议、遣词造句中的修辞手法的运用等，很少有精彩上乘之作。
5） 语句不同错别字多的现象比较严重。诸多“通过……，使我……”，“只要稍微深思一下，就会理解这个问题”，“会不会欣赏别人，是衡量一个人有眼光的关键”等这类病句，在作文中经常出现。至于将“迫不急待”写成“迫不及等”，将“孤陋寡闻”写成“孤漏寡文”，“萍水相逢”写成“平水相逢”，这样的错别字现象比较多见，甚至出现将“离离原上草，一岁一枯荣”写成“粒粒原上草，一睡一窟窿”这样的“创举”。
